About this place El Rincon Community Clinic

El Rincon Community Clinic is a healthcare and social services center in Chicago's Humboldt Park, built for the Latino LGBTQ+ community and their families.

It's an LGBTQ+ organization, which means it’s a space for health, wellness, and community support, not a place for nightlife. They run rehabilitation programs and an HIV early intervention program, making it a good spot for visitors and residents who need health services, counseling, or just a connection to the local community while in Chicago.

If you're in Chicago and need LGBTQ+-affirming healthcare, community organizations like this one offer a lot more than a standard doctor's office. Chicago’s LGBTQ+ community has always pushed for culturally competent care, and El Rincon is part of that, with a specific focus on Latino and immigrant populations.

Whether you're looking for health services, want to link up with local programs, or just want to know about support resources in the city, this clinic shows the kind of grassroots, community-first work that keeps neighborhoods going.

You’ll find El Rincon at 3809 West Grand Avenue in Humboldt Park. Stop by if you need information or services. Check their website for programs and hours.

Very good program. We have groups everyday, they demand monthly urine drop in order for you to get take home bottles of methadone. It's works if you need help with heroin and fentanyl addiction...

This is the place I went to to get clean over nine years ago despite the first time being a horrible experience the second time I knew better eventually there I started working about our patients was beyond passionate, making things happen, inspiring others to get clean as well. Listen to what they had to say came up with solutions Giving each other, motivation each and every day. However, despite having an amazing director, a handful of exceptional counselors that go up and beyond there’s still so much work to be done! That they’re limited to due to the fact of hiring individuals who don’t know nothing about addiction nor care about us. That do the bare minimum to keep their jobs instead of doing the most they can because of it. Along with promoting Incompetence instead of those who just need a bit of mentorship guidance, actual training instead of just allowing me to figure it out yet I was killing it! While making it look good! Consistently misunderstood. No one just like when I was a patient listening to my side of the story…. Which is why today I filed my lawsuit against them.. to try to make a difference to sincerely bring mental wellness and recovery into the 21st-century uplifting more than just our own communities much love and positive energy, Lcv. Let’s Create Victories Especially through positivity … ..
