We have stayed at The Line three or four times when visiting family. We have always enjoyed our stay and the convenience of having the restaurant/bar located within the hotel. On our last trip I inadvertently made an error in my booking and didn't realize it until after returning home. I called the hotel to determine how this happened and spoke to a very helpful representative who could not solve the issue but assured me she would bring my situation to the attention of someone who could. Three days later the situation was resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you for your understanding and great customer service.
The Line is one of my favorite DC venues as a DC wedding planner! I have worked here multiple times, and each time love working with Lauren + the rest of the team. The spaces are unique and fun, and are customizable for how you want your event to flow. I would definitely recommend hosting your wedding at the Line!
I recently stayed at this hotel and while my experience started off with some reservation and room issues, I have to give major credit where it’s due. The managers, Sandra and Poncedar, truly made it better. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care turned the situation around quickly. They addressed every concern with urgency and kindness, and that level of attentiveness made all the difference. I also have to highlight the on‑site restaurant, No Goodbyes. The food and drinks were top tier. Truly. I would come back to this hotel just for the restaurant alone. Everything we ordered was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and memorable — easily one of the best parts of the entire stay. Despite the rocky start, the service recovery and the incredible dining experience made my visit worthwhile. I appreciate the team members who stepped up and made sure we were taken care of
SURAFIEL greeted us warmly at the door and was gracious to help us with seven bags!! He walked us through registration where we were greeted warmly. Check-in was a breeze. SURAFIEL helped us find our room and unloaded all of our baggage. He is very kind.
The rooms are alright, service was great. Definitely not what I expected, I’ve been to the one in Austin and it’s night and day but overall it’s alright
This hotel was in the LGBT... district. If you're not into that, definitely don't stay there. The lobby had pictures of cross dressers, gay men, and other gay photos. Not my scene, so I wish I had known that before booking. We got to the hotel after dark and drove around it to find the lobby. On the drive around the hotel, we saw literally about 100 huge rats running around. I've never seen rats like that before. I was very surprised. The room was mostly clean and in good condition. I found the hard way that parking is not an option. I had to pay $65/night +tax. That was very frustrating. We also paid $35/night for an amenities fee (we used none of the amenities). They charged me for an item from the minibar which I did not use. The prices were stupid, $15 for a shot-size bottle of whiskey. I will say this though. Im from the Midwest. None of this was appealing to me. Someone else might love this place. It just wasn't for me.
