Getting a room is a matter of luck; I was unlucky the first night. However, the staff offered me a new room without any fuss. They were very friendly there as well.

Lovely new hip and artsy addition to D.C. Also great for small arys exhibits and conferences. The DC/DOX used several rooms for their panels on the documentary film industry.

Maggie Arnold, Director of Front Office at Eaton DC, was extremely helpful when getting a gift to a friend who was a guest at Eaton DC. She even wrote our somewhat odd message to our dear friend and assured us it was to be delivered day of. Exceptional customer service! Thank you Maggie!

This hotel is very noisy! If your room is on a lower floor and facing K street, be prepared to feel like you’re outside even when you are in your room. You also can hear voices from the hallway. I would not stay here again. The staff was great, I must add.

Rooms were clean, if a bit small. The biggest problem is that they're constantly having loud, clubby events in their rooftop bar. The soundproofing is not sufficient to keep that noise from coming through to the rooms, especially if you're staying on the top floor. Expect to hear heavy bass well into the night to 1-2am.

The room and hotel itself are very nice. The room was clean and looked good. That said, everything else was bad. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm and my wife and I didn't get into our room until we'll over an hour after checkin. The front desk kept saying "the room would be ready in 20 min" and it was not. Once in the room, the temperature was somehow both too hot and too cold. The AC was so loud it woke us both up multiple times. The water pressure was so hard we could barely turn on the shower without getting water everywhere, same deal with the sink. Walls between the rooms are also very thin.
