via Stay22About this place Pekers Bar
Pekers Bar is a gay bar in Dallas's Oak Lawn neighborhood, where it's been a local fixture since 2007.
Ron and Frank, both veteran bartenders from other Dallas spots, opened Pekers that May. They wanted a place for the local community, and they got one. It's the kind of gay bar you find everywhere: a spot to meet people, drink, and get a feel for the local scene. This isn't a trendy place that opened last week. It's a neighborhood bar, and it feels like it.
You'll find it on Oak Lawn Avenue, right in the middle of other gay-friendly businesses. It’s a good starting point if you’re new to town and want to take the temperature of Dallas’s gay bar scene. Or maybe you just want a quiet drink.

Great vibe and atmosphere. Evan is a great bartender! Looking forward to hanging out again. Karaoke was fun!
Cheap drinks, cool bartenders, and karaoke on the weekend. Cool little bar
There was a bug in my drink, the bartender was rude, and the patrons were very unwelcoming
Love this little bar!!! It’s chill, a good place to unwind after a long day. The people here are cool, met some good friends here!
Pekers is a must. Jonathan is the best bartender!
