Only 1 elevator works and only 1 ice machine worked out of the 5 that I saw. The bathroom sink was VERY SLOW to drain..the staff was nice but I won't be returning..it was below the HILTON standard for sure...

We are here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, Ciara, Latarsha and Hope at the front desk from the moment we checked in, she picked up on the significance of the occasion and went out of her way to make it feel special. It was the small touches that stood out most. she remembered details we'd mentioned in passing, anticipated things we hadn't even thought to ask for, and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. it was clear that they genuinely cared about making our anniversary memorable. In an industry where "great service" often just means efficient service, they reminded us what true hospitality looks like: paying attention, caring about the person in front of her, and putting in the extra effort without being asked. They are a huge asset to this property, and we hope her manager knows how much of a difference they made for us. Thank you, “Ciara, Latarsha and Hope” you made our 10 years feel truly celebrated. We'll absolutely be back, and we're already hoping to see you at the desk when we do.

The front desk isn’t staffed well. Or staff in back and can’t see when someone waiting or hear calls. They need a bell or something. I was waiting several minutes for person to come from back. And I tried calling twice and no one answered the phones. Rooms don’t include microwave but was able to request one for room which necessary for toddler.

Unbelievable how much this hotel declined. They even hid the other elevator with a make shift grass board. Walls in our room have severe water damage and room had heavy mildew smell. Bar on Friday night shut down at 730pm on all frozen drinks. This place has fallen off the map from were it used to be. Never coming back!!!!

Unfortunately, this DoubleTree did not live up to the brand standards. The pictures online do not depict the reality of this place. The property is very run down and in serious need of updating and better maintenance. Our bathroom was dirty, the carpets throughout the hotel were worn and dirty, and elevators were intermittently out of service. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. We paid for a “premium” room - If this was premium I can’t even imagine how horrific the regular rooms were. Another reviewer mentioned cookies at welcome and a free breakfast - both are not accurate. Although very small, the pool area was okay. We had to ask for pool towels as there were none out. Overall, the staff was not particularly welcoming, friendly or helpful. The location is directly across from the beach, which is convenient, but that was about the only positive for us. We couldn’t wait to check out. Overall, the property felt like a complete dump and absolutely did not feel like the DoubleTree experience we expected. We would not stay here again. It was definitely not worth what they charge.
