Columbia Gorge Pride Alliance

Columbia Gorge Pride Alliance (CGPA) is the main LGBTQIA2S+ organization serving Hood River, The Dalles and the wider Columbia River Gorge. Run as a program of the Hood River nonprofit The Next Door, Inc. (965 Tucker Rd), it organizes the area's two annual Pride celebrations — Hood River Pride each June and Winter PrideFest each March — alongside year-round youth outreach, community meet-ups and free gender-affirming gear. For a small Gorge town without a dedicated gay district, CGPA is the connective tissue of local queer life, partnering with downtown venues such as the Hood River Hotel to host drag brunches, comedy nights and family-friendly programming.
