This hotel is a work in progress. It is undergoing renovation and updating and has a long way to go given that it is an historic downtown hotel. However, I would give this property five stars and more for the courtesy and generosity they provided to me. I left an expensive pair of shoes in my room and when I returned to my home about 150 miles away I discovered I had left them. I called the hotel and they graciously mailed them back to me. For this wonderful service, I highly recommend them for their goodwill and graciousness.
Half of our team couldn’t check in because there was no one at the desk for hours . Tried calling every number for a while. What a nightmare. Be careful coming here. Feel for the young man running himself
I have literally been unable to leave for the last couple of days because the LOBBY DOOR and EMERGENCY EXITS are completely locked. I am talking ALL of them. I have never seen a place that does that WHEN GUESTS ARE HERE. Walked the hallways calling out for literally any staff to let me out. Still here !
Not happy with our encounter here on Monday April 27th just after 9am. Was shocked to hear the response when we asked for a room for the day after wanting a break from a very long drive from Ontario - the man (presumably) immediately rejected the request after zero consideration or inquiry with management... stating - I kid you not: "we don't charge by the hour". An insulting, unnecessary, judgemental comment. We were taken back... and unlike the terminator... we won't be back.
My husband and I stayed here for one night for a quick one day vacation through Hudson. It's an easy and pretty 5 minute walk to the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. We weren't looking for a fancy hotel. We just wanted a simple and clean place to stay for the night which is exactly what this place is. The front desk was very helpful and the breakfast in morning was a nice combination of eggs, sausage, waffles (you make em!), and coffee. Highly recommend.
There are beautiful antique shops nearby as well as a spa. The hotel itself is small and quiet and very beautiful. My week there has been amazing and the manager along with he room service lady are very kind. Would definitely stay again 🤗
attention Do not stay at this hotel, when I left my room they came in and stole my gold necklace, when I call the manager of the hotel Sangeet Bindas Seth he said he can't do anything he sound like he was apart of this whole think ill have the police investigate it.
