Right down the street from the Hudson Amtrak station, this converted candle factory has large, clean, well appointed rooms. Staff is very friendly. You can get "American fare" from breakfast til dinner. A short walk to Warren St. for restaurants, cool architecture, art and antiques
This is an appreciation review to the friendly and very accomodating staff of the hotel. We came in late in the evening tragedy, our Airbnb having not worked out, needing a room that could accommodate 3 people and a dog. The staff on front desk were sympathetic and quick to help. I was so impressed and grateful
Small room. Not layed out to charge devices easily
We spent our wedding anniversary in Hudson and it was such a great town. The hotel was perfectly located near the train, had plenty of parking if you drove and walking distance to town but also the breweries and antique warehouses. The rooms weren’t the biggest but so cozy and had everything you could need, plus you’re not spending much time in your room. The lobby was so cool. What really blew us away was the thoughtfulness of the staff. We briefly mentioned our anniversary while checking in and they printed a card wishing us a happy anniversary along with a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting in our room the next day. What a treat!! Thank you Wick Staff :)
The rooms are pretty expensive and creaky and loud, the floor makes so much noise for your partner in the same room and people above us and in the hallway could be heard all day and night moving around: some of it is guests and some staff. It was impossible to sleep. Didn’t get what we paid for and weren’t given a discount or refund. Would not recommend: instead get an Airbnb since there are plenty in the town.
Comfortable friendly
First stay at a Marriott Tribute hotel. Marriott excellence. Great location, near shops and restaurants. A converted candle factory adds to the uniqueness.
