What reviewers say

Visitors generally praise the clean and well-appointed rooms, with some appreciating the easy self-check-in and convenient location. However, multiple guests complain about significant noise issues from neighboring units, creaky floors, and external disturbances, with some feeling the property is misrepresented as a hotel and overpriced for the experience.

Nautical Nest was a clean, peaceful place to stay with some great shopping and food an easy walk away. The self check-in process was fast and simple, which was great because I got in far later than I had expected and was exhausted but was in the door and up in my room within 5 minutes. They didn’t have parking but I was able to park directly across the street.

Wow, this place is a complete sham . It's gross. It's worse than my early apts in NYC. I would say one step above a dorm and should not be charging more than $100 a night. SHAME ON YOU. We booked 2 nights at about $400 a night with taxes and fees. We did not even end up sleeping there. The moment we walked in we looked online and found another property, a beautiful 2 bedroom suite at Wm. Farmer & Sons for $299 a night. The value was not even comparable. A "suite" at Nautical Nest = a room with a chair and small bed Nespresso machine = broken Balcony = a step above a fire escape with 2 rusty chairs kitchen= college dormotory kitchenette that stinks and has a microwave and mini fridge NO lobby, No common space at all, no staff, no hospitality. I highly recommend choosing one of the many other charming hotels in Hudson unless you get a deal under $100 for this place. ** Update response to the hotels response . This review is 100% accurate. NO ONE SHOULD PAY $400 a night for what is basically a boarding house. There is no lobby, the kitchenette is exactly as I described, the AC is a cheap window unit that is not even installed so the window doesn't close and let's outside noise in, the outdoor furniture is rusty and cheap. I have no reason to make a personal attack as I never even met a person involved in this hotel. Just two friends whowere so looking forward to this weekend and we had to spend time finding a new place to stay and moving upon arrival because we absolutely did not want to stay in this room. The whole experience sucked and was a completely rip off**

Three night stay with my husband. Easy to communicate with hosts who enabled early entry. Clean room with comfy bed and a Nespresso machine which came in handy along with free treats for guests. Centrally located in town. Great dining nearby. A fantastic stay.
