Did not stay there, room was given away
5 out of 5 stars all the way around . We stay all over the U.S. We have stayed in every major chain and a Whole lot of mom and pop hotels This was in my top 3 stays ever The indoor pool was huge and well maintained. Overall decor was picture worthy at all seating areas in the lobby. The lighting spectacular! Bar, huge dining area also. Our elevator was clean. The room was pristine. The view of the pond, carousel and space center was incredible! Look out the window and there was a ROCKET !! I found the atmosphere to be nothing short of whimsical!! The staff was helpful and pleasant. Evelyn at the front desk was charming. They offer rides to local attractions. We were on the top floor. I honestly can’t think of one bad thing ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to be asked back by the amazing folks who booked the room for us. Promoters are seldom that generous!
Great experience rooms were excellent and Deontay was amazing he made the stay with his personality. Will be coming back.
Good location, next to a shopping mall and breakfast slightly better than the usual continental breakfast; room is terrible with stained night stand, cracked and chipped table, spot on floor near window, bathroom faucet loose, off centered and has missing screw, marks on wall etc. Lastly no Internet service. This place is certainly not a luxury resort and not worth the price. This place certainly is run down. Asked to speak to management but yet to hear from anyone regarding our concerns. Yours truly, retired Army Sergeant Major.
Very very disappointed with the Element! I received an email from the hotel about upgrades. I upgraded to the pond side view. I already had a suit with a balcony. We got to the hotel, FYI the element is not inside the Westin lobby. The lady in the Westin redirected me(she was beyond sweet). Then you walk into the lobby of the Element... felt like I was in a basic Motel 8.... We got to the room. Seemed dusty and stuffy.. Missing the pond few I paid extra for. Went back to the lobby and asked them to correct that. They then gave me a new room with the view. Showed up to the room, it had a trash can outside the door collecting water from a leak in the ceiling. Walked into the room and it had a horrible spoiled milk/rotten egg smell. We had to open the balcony and spray air freshener to make it bearable... We took an short 45min nap and then left for our concert. When we left the stench had gotten worse and we told the lady at the front desk. When we returned from the concert the smell was still there... We talked to the lady at the front desk and she told us the hotel was completely booked... The couple infront of us was bumped to the Westin(the good side), we were told that the hotel was booked though...
Let’s start with the good; - staff was great - room was spacious with great views - Bed was VERY comfortable - breakfast was great - Location very convenient The not-so-good - the bedside lamp plugs didn’t work - clock was unplugged - trash bins weren’t ready - toilet dirty and didn’t flush right - room had missing art - water pressure is bad - wooden bed rail too high: HURTS - body wash smelled “off” - only two towels Most of the issues seem to revolve around maintenance it seems. I thought this hotel being joined with the more upscale Westin would be a positive sign but I’m not sure. I will probably stay here again since a good breakfast is getting harder to find these days but they have some serious quality control issues at this hotel.
Hotel was in a great location with fantastic staff. A bit tired inside, but the rooms were a good size. Average breakfast but they do free afternoon drinks!
