La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis Downtown

Great location for Gainbridge, Lucas Oil, and dining/night life. Free parking is a plus.

Great price and location walking distance to Gainbridge field house and monument circle. Decent breakfast and the coffee was good. Pet-friendly and only charged us one night for our cat. Friendly staff. Covered parking was very convenient and included. The bathroom only had one door separating the sink and toilet shower room from the sleeping area. However no door separating the sink from the toilet. A little awkward for a couple to use sink and mirror while the toilet was occupied. Non-smoking hotel, however our room had a light smokers odor.

We loved we were able to park our car, not use it till we left to go back home. It was close to the Gainbridge Arena. And if you are able you can walk to downtown, all around and not have to drive! The room smelled clean, felt clean. I did take a couple of pictures in the bathroom area that needed some attention, showed to the front desk and hopefully they are taken care of. It did NOT hinder staying in that room in any way.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable room. Very small elevator (1 only) needs a serious update. Decent complimentary breakfast of scrambled eggs, waffles, toast, muffins, juice, milk, coffee, coin laundry.

This is NOT a Wyndham property. The inside looks like a Days Inn that just got rebranded to a LaQuinta. I was in town for a big concert and so I was stuck here as all other hotels were booked. The lobby: Empty and clean. Easy check in. The parking garage: Main level is very nice but not many spaces. It was full so we had to go to a lower level. Filthy. Wet, muddy, trash everywhere, dripping water on you, just nasty. The elevator: Smallest elevator I’ve ever been in. Three people max unless you have luggage. If you’re the slightest bit claustrophobic, use the stairs. Hallways: Skinny! Security cameras everywhere. So many that it’s kinda creepy for such a small hotel. Room: Clean at first look but…stains on the top “duvet cover”, sheet didn’t fit the bed, carpet was damp and wet in some areas, tile floors were filthy. I spilled my water and when I wiped it up, the rag was black! AC worked really well. The bathroom: closet had no hangers for clothes, bathtub needed new caulking because it was black in some areas, sink was cracked. Breakfast: Weekends 7-10 am. I went down at 9:30 and everything was gone. Not because it was eaten but because they put it all away too early. I had to make them bring food out. The scrambled eggs were blended to smithereens, the sausage looked like the sole of a shoe. The cereal and waffles were the best option. The floors were NASTY. These people don’t know how to use a mop or cleaning supplies. Location: I liked it. At the edge of town away from the chaos but still walkable to everything. We walked to dinner and Lucas Oil Stadium. I would never stay here again. This hotel needs a surprise visit from corporate.

The room was beyond dirty. The window looked like a bullet or something went through and broke the first layer of it. The smell of the whole hotel was dingy. The bed had stands all on it. The air conditioning unit was super old and the pillows were all mismatched the bedding looked like it was not freshly changed. We immediately checked back out and went else where. The front desk woman was so kind. But the room and hotel were very unsanitary.

The location is only a few minutes from downtown, you can definitely walk and sight see on your stroll to downtown and surrounding area's.. I would definitely book it again for the conveniences, plus your super close to all the restaurants, without paying for Vip, you can use the extra towards a slice of cheesecake 😉 or a mix drink of choice.. a time was had this weekend.. We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and unfortunately had a very poor experience. Cleanliness was a major issue—our room floors were visibly dirty, and the hallways were just as bad. There was even a pile of dirt sitting in front of the elevator that was not cleaned in time, despite being requested, which was especially frustrating as someone in our group was coming down in a wedding dress. There were also multiple maintenance issues in our room, including a non-working TV, no bathroom soap, and air conditioning that wasn’t functioning properly. The elevator itself felt unreliable, and the power went out while we were getting ready for the wedding, which added unnecessary stress during an important event. The parking garage was also unclean and felt unsafe, with people loitering and smoking. What’s most disappointing is that I attempted to resolve this directly with the hotel by emailing twice, followed up, escalated to corporate, and even reached out through Booking.com—and still received no response. I would have much preferred to resolve this privately, but due to the lack of communication, I felt it was important to share our experience.
