About this place Le Méridien Indianapolis

Le Méridien Indianapolis occupies a prime position on South Illinois Street in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, placing guests within easy reach of the convention centre, the Mass Ave arts district, and the downtown gay bar scene. The Le Méridien brand — part of the Marriott portfolio — brings a European-inspired design aesthetic and a consistent culture of LGBTQ+ inclusion: Marriott has one of the stronger records among major hotel chains on LGBTQ+ hospitality, participating in the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index with consistently high scores. The hotel's design language references the brand's commitment to arts and culture, with curated art installations and a design approach that distinguishes it from the standard convention hotel aesthetic. The Illinois Street location is centrally positioned for both the convention-oriented business traveller and the LGBTQ+ leisure visitor: the convention centre is next door, the Circle Centre Mall is across the street, and Talbott Street's gay bar scene is accessible by rideshare in minutes. During Indy Pride in June, the hotel's downtown location makes it a practical base for visitors attending the Military Park festival.

Staff was lovely, room was great, wonderful location for fever games. Recommend the Yard house for food and drinks after the game. Also St Elmo’s Nextdoor for their shrimp cocktail.

Great little boutique hotel. Perfect location for a visit to St. Elmo's.

Our team booked this reservation via travel teams for MEQ. Upon arriving at the hotel late on a Friday evening, it took about 45 min for us to check in. The very nice lady was struggling with the reservations of our team. The rate she was charging (per her computer) was not the rate we booked at. After 45 min we thought this issue was solved. The next morning when we went to shower, there was human feces smeared on the shower wall. The very nice cleaning service lady came to look at this issue. She spoke with someone about taking some money off of our room. Sunday came and we went to check out. I pulled up my bank account. From Friday - Sunday I had a $450.00, $350.00, $740.00 and $50.00 charge on my account. After multiple trips to the front desk, I am told this has been resolved. I still see a pending charge of $740.00 on my account. Because of all of the headache with charges on my debit card and no explaination for the charges, I will not be staying here again. I would like to think this was an accident, but reading other reviews, it seems they have an issue with this. People in our group were charged double. Another person from a different group was charged three times. Today when I was working on figuring out my mess, another couple was having issues of being over charged. Overall, there were many people charged multiple times. I pray this is straightened out. Spending two hours of my weekend at the front desk of our hotel was draining and something I shouldn't have to do. I am disappointed because of the time I have and will continue to have to waste on this issue.

Love the location, but won’t stay here again. Heard a front desk employee raise her voice with a customer over a request & then was treated rudely for a separate request.

Nice location. First time at this location. Surprised at state of disrepair of bathroom faucet was not bolted to sink and was wobbly when turning water on or off. Dresser drawer handle loose and broken dresser drawer. Problems reported through the Bonvoy app. So far waiting for a response.

I got charged an additional $250 for smoking which I did not do. They said the alert was going on all night and morning and had to consult with the company. Did not smoke, do t appreciate having money taken from my account for something I didn’t do. Will NOT return. Keith at Valet was only positive part of our entire stay at this hotel.
