I can appreciate the service or lack thereof. You place your order at the counter, get your own drinks, find a seat, and they will bring your food. You will not see a staff member after that. FOOD was NOT good. Everything we had was bad. The fried catfish taste spoiled, cheese grits had a funny taste, waffles had no flavor. We did not eat the food. The atmosphere was good overall. Nice looking place. Table were not all that clean. Maybe they had a bad day. I would not recommend.

No idea why this place is lower than a 4.5 on Google. I think if you mind places that you take your dishes back to a tray or order at the front, I guess that could be problematic for you? I'm also not convinced $20 for a dense breakfast is a bad deal for any major city, as some of the other folks have noted. I opted for Pork Belly & A Waffle and it was stellar. Pork Belly was extremely crispy and melty on the inside and the waffle was perfect. I love the inside decor. It's hip and classic at the same time. Lot of wild artwork that made me chuckle.

12 dollars for below average biscuits and gravy. Hardee’s has better Bs and Gs. They also ask for a tip when you order at a counter and have to put your own plate away. Maybe lunch is better but breakfast was well below average

Being the son of a high level cook means my standard for food is high but what love handle did to my tastes buds this afternoon has redefined what food means to me. I got the love handle style sandwich with fried chicken. And it had some nice spice and then the coleslaw came in and paired with the spice and the cherry on top you get a little taste of cheese at the end. The fries don’t even get me started came out of the fryer perfect crisp and salt ratio. 10/10 I will be back

I was disappointed in their main breakfast item which is biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were all burned on the bottom and the sausage was a rare find in the gravy.
