About this place Cornell LGBT Resource Center
The Cornell LGBT Resource Center is the university's official support office for LGBTQ+ students, staff and faculty. It is based in Alumni House at 626 Thurston Avenue, on the north side of the Ithaca campus. It runs programming, advising, student group support and a lounge space, and it can point visitors to queer resources around Ithaca.
It is a campus office rather than a public venue, so hours follow the academic calendar and drop-in times vary. Check the website before visiting, especially during breaks and summer. Ithaca itself is small and generally accepting, with only a modest LGBTQ+ nightlife scene.
