Leisure Lake Membership Resort
Many visitors praise the resort for its many amenities and activities, with some long-term campers noting it is well-maintained and reasonably priced. However, a significant number of reviewers complain about extremely rude and disrespectful staff, particularly a female manager named Nancy, and describe the sites as unkempt and unsafe.

First off Leisure Lake is hands down the best place we have stayed on more than one occasion and trust me we travel for work with our family and have seen our fare share of campgrounds. These comments are cracking me up about the management because truthfully the ones complaining are obviously "the problem"..there is no issues if you can follow the few simple rules they enforce for safety and liability reasons. The upmost respectful staff and management! They do an amazing job and that is why this place is so successful and an outstanding place to come, extremely family oriented so many amenities something to do for all age groups children and adults! Very well kept and maintained and if you disagree then do us all a favor and go elsewhere because we dont like negative Nancy's we love the Leisure Lake Nancy! 💗 Thank you to all members, management and staff you all do an outstanding job and we will continue to come back ever chance we get!!
This is a very convenient and large RV park with lots of amenities, including a pool, pickleball courts, small shop and about a 1 mile perimeter walk. If you are sensitive to highway noise, you may want to ask for a site as far from the highway as possible. The drive to reach the park includes a one vehicle wide tunnel with traffic controlled by a stop light. Plenty tall and wide enough for rvs to pass through. The sites are almost all grassy gravel, not paved. We had full-hook ups which is nice but some of the sewer stems are qy quite tall making it challenging to dump. This is our second stop here and we would come again.
Good campground for WToSW Chicago visit. Easy access, under the construction of the I80 bridge. Full class A with tow is no problem.
Great Good Sam campground.
This is an RV park. It sits right between two intersecting highways. The noise isn’t bad and there is plenty to enjoy on site.
