The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center

Fancy a bit snooty, why are you asking, nothing is posted, that's why im asking... im not the only one who didn't know the pool was on the 5th floor and closed at 10:00 i told 5 people myself. You had to self learn that you could visit your friends on other floors without getting stuck. I had to take the pizza guy back to the lobby.I still don't know if they served food in the bar, had room service, etc.. I woke up at 6 to find out I missed a active tornado warning at 2am! No evacuation or anything too weird Rooms were nice Beds were nice I came down with noroviris the next day not sure if it is related or not i did report it to the ER I visited.

The hotel is nice but a bit dated. It’s so old there are popcorn ceilings in the rooms. The whole building and carpets are worn out.

14$ for WiFI per day? Really? 21st century. Shame.

Never book here. This crooked and corrupt establishment takes your money. Extorts its customers. I booked a stay through Delta Airlines Stays. I showed up to check-in and they refused to honor the pre-paid reservation and made me re-book at an astronomical rate. No refund despite 3 calls to the hotel and 2 to Delta. What a joke. I am Marriott Titanium and Delta. So I know this does not meet the Marriott or Delta service expectation.

Visited here for the annual Celebration at Union Station memorial day celebration. Other than the view being amazing from our room, the bed was absolutely horrendous! I didn't get any sleep all night. I was able to fall asleep on a random recliner at my in-laws house just a couple days before, and normally I can't sleep in recliners. Mind you this is a 4-star hotel! Pillows were way too overstuffed and my neck was extremely sore the next morning 😖 I'm a photograph and so I wanted to take some awesome captures of the memorial day fireworks during my stay there. I choose staying here primarily for this reason as the hotel is in a prime location from Union Station and the Liberty memorial. Security was WAYYY too uptight about me setting up my camera on their completely vacant, non-blocked off 5th floor patio, which provided an excellent view of Union station KC. This patio wasn't under construction, accessible from a easily seen in plain view staircase that led up from ground level. Couldn't for the life of me figure out why they had such an issue focusing on a guy with a camera, who also was a paying guest! Smoke detector had an annoying blinking light all night long that was extremely bright! Shower was decent and probably the only enjoyable part of my stay 🤷🏻.

The room is spacious with a fake balcony. Nice view tho. Bed sheets are old, torn. The toilet bowl needs some plunge work. A nice location to walk around downtown.

Delaney Saved My 2-Week Business Trip** I recently wrapped up a two-week business trip at The Westin Kansas City, and I can say without understatement that had it not been for **the incredible Ms. Delaney Hoppes**, my stay would have been an absolute disaster. Upon my initial check in, a manager named Rita failed to annotate my stay notes with vital, pertinent billing information. This oversight created a massive headache regarding my corporate expenses. Thankfully, Delaney stepped in. She is a stellar and outstanding pillar of the Westin workforce. She went above and beyond to fix my folio not just once, but twice, handling the situation with grace, urgency, and absolute professionalism. When leadership failed to do the basic administrative groundwork, Delaney carried the weight of the department and salvaged the hotel's reputation. She is the singular reason I will even consider the Westin for my future business travel. Westin Management: Delaney is a massive asset to your property. Please ensure she gets the recognition, praise, and promotion she clearly deserves! And please ,save your standard " We hope to see you in the future" statement. just do better because unless you're offering a compensatory night or two, I'm not interested . Simply recognize Ms. Hoppes, and the team that service the rooms everyday for their effort ,that was immensely appreciated.

Very nice. Parking too expensive -- $34 a night.
