Nice place!!
Absolutely A+ staff at the front desk! Chris answered all my questions and talked to us about our school tour. Hallie helped me find a great hiking spot. My daughter is deciding where to school next year and the staff here made us feel good about coming to Tennessee!
Pricey but......... Atleast it was a very clean and nice place to stay. Downtown location. Very safe. Covered, secure parking, locked lobby, snacks and drinks available in the lobby. Pleasant staff and very quiet.
Stayed here in May. Exceptional welcome at the front desk by Christopher. He even texted later to let us know if we needed anything. The room was perfect for us and the next morning's breakfast was also. This location was perfect as it was close to UT and everything within walking distance to downtown. The parking was also very convenient. We booked another stay for June. However, our plans didn't work out before the cancelation with refund date. I called and spoke to the operations manager. She was so nice and helpful. She gave me a one time curtosey cancelation with no charge. I was and am so thankful for her understanding! I would highly recommend staying here. A+++ accommodations, location, etc. We will definitely be recommending to other travelers and will return.
You know how sometimes a hotel KNOWS there's an issue but doesn't do the right thing -- like tell guests about it? That's this place. Bottom line: don't expect to sleep in your room. The hotel is hard by a major highway, the walls are paper thin and the windows aren't soundproofed (in addition to being tiny). This shoddy construction means that you hear traffic LOUD 24x7. You hear the folks above you arguing and, welll, you know, all night long. You get to hear someone else in the hotel sing country music in the shower in the morning because the vents are all tied together. In short, this hotel is shoddily constructed, making the noise and sleeplessness a major issue. And what has the hotel done to resolve this? Better sound insulation? Letting people know before they book that it's noisy? Nope -- they put a $5 white noise generator, disposable ear plugs and a chirpy notice -- "We're expanding!" -- in the room. Unless you have no issue with not sleeping in your room, avoid this hotel completely.
Our ac unit made a scraping sound continously that sounded like someone was tunneling into our room from the outside. Very annoying.
