About this place Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas is a curved high-rise on the Strip, a mile from the Convention Center, that does the full casino-resort thing with serious hospitality. Rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows, pillow-top mattresses, and bathrooms with good tubs. You also get Wi-Fi, iPhone docks, and flat-screen TVs. Splurge on a suite, and you might see an in-room massage room, a granite wet bar, a whirlpool tub, and free breakfast delivered to your door. Two spas and gyms are there if you need them, plus pools and hot tubs. There's even an 18-hole golf course. When night falls, four nightclubs get going. It’s a lot to take in, all under one roof, and a popular choice for LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a complete Vegas experience without leaving the property.

We were having an excellent experience at this hotel when we decided to go to the bar in the casino center and were rudely greeted by a waitress who asked for my wife's (30 years old) ID. We handed her her driver's license, which, upon being given to the manager, he informed us that the scanner couldn't read it. It was an original, new, and valid driver's license in this country, but we were told to leave. This showed a complete lack of preparation and courtesy on his part, as he arrogantly claimed to be the manager and that he could do this, even after I stated that I would complain to the hotel's general manager. After doing so, the receptionist informed us that the manager would review the case and gave us a form to write our observations about the situation, meaning he didn't even consider the information provided at check-in when we presented our passports. Furthermore, my wife doesn't drink any alcoholic beverages, but this wasn't even taken into account. It's regrettable to have a hotel of this caliber and employ unprepared staff to serve guests.
