Residence Inn Chicago Lombard

Rooms were very clean. They could use a little updating but a super great value in a great location.

The hotel is located between Chicago and its airport. It's a good place to stay for the price. The breakfast is very American; the woman who runs it is very friendly, but there's a lack of variety and nothing for people with celiac disease or allergies. We were given rooms that haven't been renovated; they were scary. The cleanliness was acceptable. The pillows are very, very uncomfortable.

Upon booking, there are clearly 2 very different types of rooms - remodelled rooms and older, not so nice looking rooms. There is also a very clear price difference between the two. I booked a remodelled room and PAID the according price. When I arrived at the property, they put me in an old room that was not remodelled. I immediately went back to the front desk and showed my booking and informed the lady that the room she put me in was not what I booked nor what I paid for. She told me they were out of the remodelled rooms for the night and that I would have to pay the difference to be place in a remodelled room with 2 double beds (I originally booked a Queen bed remodelled room). I was falsely sold a room and forced to pay extra at the hotel for essentially the same thing. Terrible experience and will never be booking here again. Very deceptive room listings, if you book a remodelled room, know that it’s not guaranteed EVEN IF YOU PAY EXTRA, and they will tell you it’s first come first serve. Save your money and book elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

The room was comfortable and clean. All the staff that I interacted with was always nice. Great location.

My stay at SureStay Plus by Best Western Chicago Lombard was a great experience. This is a real review from an actual stay by Favored Stayz. From the moment you walk in, the hotel feels clean and welcoming. The lobby smelled really fresh, which always makes a good first impression when traveling. My room was clean, comfortable, and everything was on point throughout the stay. The location is also a big plus. It’s in a great area right next to the mall with plenty of restaurants nearby, so finding food or things to do is very convenient. The breakfast was good as well, which made mornings easy before heading out for the day. During checkout I couldn’t find a luggage cart, so I asked for assistance. Selena was extremely helpful and went out of her way to locate one for me in the second-floor meeting room. Great customer service like that always stands out. I really enjoyed my stay at SureStay Plus. The room had a couple minor hiccups but that happens. The staff was very accommodating. Great breakfast, Great location, Clean Environment! I will definitely be returning.

We travel frequently for business, staying primarily at Best Western brand hotels and motels. The was one of the best, most comfortable experiences we’ve had in just about any best western. This hotel is miles above what you would expect from a SureStay, more like what you’d find at higher end Best Western or Aiden, and the comfort was up there with a Best Western Plus. For the cost, this hotel was a welcome surprise! The location is great also, good food in the area, very quiet neighborhood and easy to get in and out of. Our only issue was the doors to the hallway let hallway noise and light in, but that was an easy fix with a towel at the bottom of the door. We look forward to staying here again!
