The Courtyard by Marriott is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The guest rooms are spacious, with comfortable bedding that makes for a restful stay. Recently fully renovated which was a nice change. The staff is engaging, professional, and genuinely attentive to guests’ needs. The hotel offers an ample fitness center for travelers who want to maintain their workout routine, along with a charming outdoor courtyard pool that provides a relaxing place to unwind. A standout feature is Salt & Grove, the hotel’s restaurant. Unlike the typical Courtyard “Bistro” experience, Salt & Grove serves some of the finest Italian cuisine in Southern California. The quality of the food alone makes this property worth a visit. This hotel also offers tremendous value and is especially accommodating for guests traveling with dogs. Between the cleanliness, comfort, excellent staff, and outstanding dining, this Courtyard delivers an experience that exceeds expectations. Rating: 5/5 – A comfortable, well-managed, and pet-friendly hotel with exceptional dining and service.

We were here for a volleyball tournament and the stay was wonderful and walking distance to the convention center. Parking was a bit expensive.

I've stayed here a number of times. Location is close enough to the water, convention center, etc. A little pricey for a courtyard but it's Long Beach so the price is appropriate compared to other nearby hotels.
