Queen Mary

It's a wonderful place to visit. Some much history with a lot of craftsmanship. The docents are extremely knowledgeable. Some tour areas are not ADA accessible. We did not stay onboard, but had drinks and dinner. The bar area was very nice and the server was friendly. The dining room was also nice and service was good. The food was okay, but not great. It is more of an experience than food.

The room was very clean and nice. I slept wonderfully. The bathroom is very small and a challenge to get ready in with the small sink and mirror. Otherwise everything else was great.

I'm loving

The rooms were definitely original. Very cold around 65 degrees. We had no hot water and after unsuccessful attempts by the hotel maintenance guy we asked to be moved which they did without any issues. However the room we moved to had issues with the TV. Unable to get a channel guide with much difficulty changing channels. The rooms walls are paper thin so every sound is heard above you and along the outer hallway. The parking is steep at 39.00 a day. The restaurants serve good food. Plan on spending 25 to 35 per meal on the low end cost of the menus. The self tour of the ship was great. I would not stay again. Priced way too high with issues related to the age of the ship. But definitely worth a tour back in time.
