What reviewers say

Many guests praise the spacious and comfortable rooms, with specific mentions of helpful and kind staff members like Michelle and Denise. However, a recurring complaint involves issues with deposit refunds and unreturned calls/emails, with some guests feeling the hotel doesn't meet Marriott standards.

This hotel does not meet Marriott standards. Note: I am Titanium with Marriott I selected this hotel due to its proximity to LAX as we were using the hotel as short overnight stay while in transit. We made reservations for 2 rooms with King size beds. I did the early check-in via the app including letting the hotel know that we would be checking in late. I received confirmation of the check in as well as notification prior to our arrival at the hotel that our rooms were ready. I really should have read the reviews regarding the shuttle! When we checked in, after dealing with the shuttle which does not have a consistent schedule nor is it reliable due to it being shared with a parking garage), we were provided 2 rooms which turned out not to be the same type room reserved and the AC units in the rooms did not function. One functioned slightly (a little cool air) and the other did not function at all. Our call to the front desk regarding the rooms was meet with essentially too bad. They said that the AC units had been off so just give them some time to work. When we mentioned that they had been on and there was NO COOL air, we were told that they MIGHT be able to find us other rooms but no assurances that they could find other rooms or that the AC units would work. We elected not to play musical rooms while crossing our fingers that we might get a room with AC and just suffered through it for our short stay. Regarding the room types, we were told that there were no more king bed rooms left. No response regarding our reservations. What the front desk did say was that they would NOT charge us for the extra beds in the rooms that we were given as if this was a generous benefit to us.

A deposit was taken from me on checking in and has not been refunded yet - more than 5 weeks after my stay. Calls and emails are not returned, and a case raised with Marriott has not had a response from the hotel yet. Avoid this place.

The service was amazing and went above and beyond during our stay. I traveled with my daughters and the manager Michelle Weber made our stay amazing. I appreciate the care and attention. The beds and rooms were so spacious and comfortable and super close to LAX. I can’t wait to return.
