About this place OUTMemphis: The LGBTQ+ Community Center of the Mid-South

OUTMemphis is the LGBTQ+ Community Center of the Mid-South, the region's largest and longest-running queer nonprofit, serving Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas from its home at 892 South Cooper Street in Midtown. It runs free HIV and STI testing, transgender and youth programs, an emergency food and support pantry, and regular community events, and it makes a reliable first stop for visitors who want to plug into local queer life. Walk-in hours run weekday afternoons, and it also operates a Youth Empowerment Center on Southern Avenue. Warm, resource-rich and deeply rooted in Memphis's grass-roots queer community.
