The Iron Horse Hotel

Bar was fun. Great staff and good drinks.

Second time staying here, used valet upon arrival. Picked up our vehicle 90 minutes later and didn't use their service again. We were charged $100.18. We called the hotel and talked to Shai she told us Marcus would call us back. He didn't. We called again, Shai said that they had been very busy but Marcus would call, he hasn't.

Came for a wedding in the library room. The room is quaint and cozy with lots of different art and books to look at. Definitely made the bride and groom’s theme come to life. The hotel was decorated so nicely. The set up was really intimate. There is valet, a parking garage and a parking lot across the street. We paid for 5 hours of parking and it was around $22.

Room smelled like sewage, 3rd floor had issues the whole week. Cool hotel vibe and outdoor area, decent location but the smell was so bad, they gave me a fan but did not help much. Manager offered to move us to another hotel but couldn’t tell us what was causing the smell. I’d pick another hotel.

Most of the staff is very unprofessional. I was just there Thursday evening while an event was happening outside with outdoor cooking and music. The food was terrific and the chefs cooking were fun, the music was okay, and the ambiance was pretty good, BUT while I was there, they thought it was a good idea to try to take care of a squirrel's nest while paying patrons were very much trying to enjoy the atmosphere. They should've paid a bit more attention to how obnoxious and disturbing it was that everyone around was watching them flail around to take care of the poor nest that was just not in a great place. Very much so something that should've been done when they weren't running full steam with guests around. Also wanted to note that the staff inside of the hotel were not the friendliest and could use some hospitality training.

The location is excellent and rooms average with comfortable beds/pillows. The north facing rooms are next to a very active train track. For the weekday rate, it’s worth it. For the weekends where the rates for a basic room can exceed $300, there are better options in the area.

I had a great experience at the The Iron Horse Hotel, and I want to give a special thank you to two valet team members, Exavier and Muhsin. Although I didn’t interact with them until I was leaving, they made a huge difference in helping my entire party get out smoothly. They were organized, efficient, and handled everything with a calm, professional attitude—even with multiple people and cars involved. What really stood out was how well they managed everything and kept things moving seamlessly. They made what could have been a hectic moment feel easy and stress-free. Really appreciate their effort—great service like that leaves a lasting impression.

The Iron Horse Hotel is one of those places that just hits different. The bold, industrial design mixed with upscale touches gives it a seriously cool vibe right when you walk in. The cocktails are on point, the food delivers, and the whole place feels alive without being overwhelming. Whether you’re grabbing drinks or staying the night, it’s got that memorable, high energy atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend!!!!!!

I had A wonderful experience from the time I pulled up until the time I left. I had To DJ for an event and didn’t know where to park both Jay & David in valet were so helpful. Alicia was also very helpful with insuring me where to set up & provided me with all the things I needed for setting up to DJ. She even made sure that I had food to eat at the party. I would definitely return here for a visit and if I need to host an event!

We went to stay Friday night after a brewers game. Our room was not clean at all from the previous guests. And they ended up sending us to a lesser hotel a couple of blocks away which by the way smelled like sewage. The thing that makes me never want to stay there is that management never reached out to my boyfriend to even attempt to make things right. The front desk lady and the bartenders working the bar were great. But I will be telling everyone I know to NEVER stay there.

Stopped in on a Saturday night to grab a cocktail. Bar service was horrendous (coming from a former bartender). 6 people at the bar and zero service for 25 minutes. Will never return
