Bon's New Orleans Street Food

So Yum!!! Was looking for a gluten free option close to Beignets and I found that at Bon’s in their Cala’s. Such a perfect treat, and their Rose Potion #9 was a perfectly balanced drink.

The food was delicious! Menu is clearly marked as to which items are gluten free. Service was quick and indoor aeating was available. We had the GF BBQ Shrimp Poboy and the GF Chicken and Waffles and had no reaction.

Gluten-free ! Chicken and waffles were great, but they did have a spicy kick. Their gluten free beignets were okay, but gluten free baking is hard, so I appreciate the effort. They were crowded but still got the food and drinks out pretty fast. Nice spot. Give it a try.

The people were kind and the shrimp and grits bites were good but it was kind of dirty in some areas.

As a NOLA native who has celiac I was really excited to try this place once I found out about it. That being said, good luck getting to the food. On multiple occasions during my lunch break seeing as i work in the quarter i’ve tried to come to BONS for lunch, every time i’ve tried to they’ve been closed for some unknown reason. If you plan on trying this place for lunch maybe reconsider and schedule dinner here instead as that’s the only time i’ve actually seen them open and been able to order. Seems like they never open until later than their scheduled hours anywho.

Awesome food, and they use all beef tallow. A lot of the food is gluten free, even the deep fried food. It is tucked back next to Landry seafood.

Delicious food and drinks! I recommend the watermelon spritz for a good cocktail.

The gumbo and Hurricane drink was so good, I had to order 2🤣
