My stay was amazing and Kim at the front desk was very helpful and nice!
I spent 2 nights here at this location, which was a pleasant surprise based on the location. And my previous knowledge of The Bronx nonetheless, the rooms were clean. The staff was cordial, and I was able to stay here without any incident. The only knock would be the limited parking in the front of the hotel, which they do have auxiliary parking once it is filled up and one should know they do offer short stays on the low. Overall, good stay, no complaints.I'll revisit this location
I love the rooms just wish they didn’t control the ac . Being from Texas I was extremely warm with ac not working correctly. It was blowing out warm air all night! I called front desk they sent maintenance as soon as he left air stopped blowing. The next morning after shift change the air magically came on when it was time to check out 😳 like the front desk controls the ac like I found in some other hotels. Needless to say I was visibly uncomfortable trying to sleep with no ac sweating couldn’t sleep especially after paying a good amount of money for two nights stay! Ramada please do better!
Located right in middle of everywhere i need to go. Fairly quite and nice rooms
It was a really good experience. I was actually stuck in NY for work and this was one of the only hotels I could find near. I was surprised when I went in my room and saw complimentary snacks. Also the breakfast in the morning was pretty decent for a hotel. The eggs had cheese in them which is a plus! And they actually had turkey sausage!! I don't eat pork so I appreciated that little touch of accommodating different clientele. They also have pork for the pork eaters. Room was clean and I slept good. I probably will never be in NY again but I’d recommend if you are considering it.
I am very disappointed, especially with the management team. First, as a returning guest, I was told by a manager during my previous stay that the hotel typically offers a discount for guests traveling due to a family funeral. When I checked in, I mentioned that we were in town because of a death in the family and that several other family members would also be staying at the hotel. The front desk attendant said she would see what she could do and get back to me, but I never heard from her again. I even spoke with the assistant manager, but that conversation was equally unhelpful. Second, this hotel advertises itself as a smoke-free facility, yet the hallways consistently smelled of both cigarette smoke and marijuana. I reported the issue to the assistant manager, but nothing appeared to be done about it. As someone with allergies, I ended up dealing with sinus issues throughout the entire week. Third, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses sagged significantly, making it feel like I was sleeping in a hole. Every morning I woke up with severe back pain and had to practically roll out of bed. Fortunately, I spent most of my time with family and only returned to the hotel late at night to sleep and shower. Other family members had similar experiences. Some checked out after only one night because they could not tolerate the conditions. One family member had paid for a stay from Monday through Friday, but when he attempted to extend his reservation, he was incorrectly told that he was scheduled to check out on Thursday. He left the hotel immediately afterward. Overall, the management demonstrated a lack of customer service and commitment to quality. This hotel is not the same as it was when I stayed here a year ago, and I now know not to stay here again in the future. Parking is horrible. The one positive aspect of my stay was the housekeeping staff. They did a fantastic job keeping the room clean and deserve recognition for their efforts.
