What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent and convenient location, with some also noting good customer service and clean accommodations. However, a significant complaint involves a guest reporting cash stolen from their room, raising security concerns. Another recurring issue is unexpected charges, even for non-smokers, which guests found difficult to resolve.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During my stay, a significant amount of cash was stolen from my room, which left me feeling shocked and, most importantly, unsafe. No guest should have to worry about the security of their belongings while staying at a hotel. What has made the experience even more upsetting is the lack of communication and support following the incident. Since reporting the theft, I have received little to no updates or reassurance, despite the seriousness of the matter. I have had to chase for information myself, and I still feel as though my concerns have not been treated with the urgency or care they deserve. Unfortunately, my interactions with the reception staff only added to my disappointment. I found several members of the reception team to be rude, dismissive, and lacking empathy when I was trying to seek assistance after such a distressing incident. At a time when I was feeling vulnerable, I expected professionalism and compassion, but instead I was made to feel like my concerns were an inconvenience. When incidents like this occur, guests expect transparency, regular communication, and a genuine effort to investigate and support those affected. Sadly, that has not been my experience. I hope the hotel reviews both its security procedures and its approach to customer service, as no guest should be left feeling unsafe, unsupported, or dismissed after reporting a serious incident.

We had a very good experience here. The location was great and the subway right outside a door cannot be beat. Easy walk to Soho, Chinatown, and more. The only gripe is one you'd have at almost any NYC: the horns and sirens outside the window.
