I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, and the thing that always sticks with me long after I’ve checked out isn’t the room or the lobby, it’s the people. On this stay at the Empire Hotel, the person who made all the difference was Adrik at the front desk. I believe he’s fairly new here, but you would honestly never guess it. From the very first time I walked through that lobby, he was sharp, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything I threw at him. And I do mean anything. Every request, big or small, was handled with the same patience and care, and he always went a step beyond what I expected. There’s a real difference between someone who is just doing their job and someone who actually takes pride in it, and Adrik clearly falls into the second group. What stood out most was how consistent he was. It wasn’t a one time thing. Every single interaction was the same level of warmth and professionalism, the kind that makes you feel looked after instead of just processed. That is rare, and it is exactly what turns an ordinary stay into one you remember for the right reasons. A hotel really does live and die by the people working its front desk, and Adrik is the kind of person who makes you want to come back. To the management at the Empire, you have someone special on your team. Take good care of him, because people like this are hard to find. Ten out of ten, without a doubt.

Wonderful overnight at the Empire. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great location next to the Met. Great bar and restaurant as well.

The location is convenient, and the rooms are neat and tidy with good housekeeping. It feels cozy and is situated in the heart of the city's activity.

The rooms are old, but the views are very beautiful.

Really nice hotel. Bit of wear and tear in rooms and needs central lights switch but lots of space in room and excellent location. Also the pool was a great way to unwind and relax , it's definitely big enough for it's purpose. Unfortunately the roof outside bar was closed at night for a private party. Little bit disappointing , should have been told. Would stay again.
