Went for 2000s nite DJ was absolutely TERRIBLE. Barely any 2000s hits and if that they only played like 5 seconds or cut at the best part. Drinks were also crazy expensive at about $20 (18% gratuity) but they were pretty good. Crowd was also pretty bad, me and my friends were constantly being pushed and shoved and no one was really dancing.

First it was freezing cold inside, which may have been nice if there was a big crowd on the dance floor, but there wasn't. Despite how dead it was, the line was super long for the bathroom, and the hallway smelt like pee... And the bathrooms were gross. Then to top off the night there was a man being really gross, grinding, humping, and even at one point pinning one of the girls down on the couch on the dance floor... People on the dance floor intervened but it felt like security should have been more on top of things. Especially considering how dead it was. Just feels like for being a "Women centric bar" it wasn't very woman friendly.....

Sapphic Raver at Honey’s - first time going but it did not disappoint. Crowd was dancing, music was fire and staff was helpful. Vibes were excellent the whole night. Bathroom line is long and heads up people sometimes jumped in and out, but hanging out with people in line did keep things interesting. The DJs performing were incredible and super fun to dance with. I’m looking forward to the next one.

My friend’s service animal was denied access, with the doorman citing potential harm from the dog stepping on broken glass. My friend needs her service dog to spot for seizures and could not go in due to this illegal discrimination. It really put a damper on our night. I have tried to contact Honeys multiple times about what happened to hopefully prevent further ableism happening moving forward, but have gotten no response other than them messaging me back on insta to email their email, which I let them know I already have and have gotten no response. I would expect more from a lesbian bar, the discrimination and lack of care around it really saddens me.
