We had an amazing stay at the Magnolia House Inn. Joyce and Lankford were very friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, and they catered to my wife’s dietary issues. The “Ellington Suite, where we stayed, was spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.
This place is a wonderful Bed&Breakfast : the owners are the kindest and most patient people, the house is gorgeous, the themed bedrooms are very comfortable: I had the “Writer’s Retreat” one and absolutely loved it! The bathroom and the bedroom were very clean and the morning breakfast was absolutely delicious! This is definitely a place that I will come back to. One negative point : My stay was way too short. I did manage to add one night (so I stayed from Friday through Wednesday), but I wish I could have stayed longer. It was lovely meeting the other guests and exchanging with them during breakfast. I loved it all !
Wonderful couple running this inn! The house was beautifully remodeled, and we enjoyed a homemade breakfast every morning! Made the trip very memorable and they were even kind enough to provide us some (incredibly tasty) cheesecake for a special occasion! Would give 6 stars if I could :D
Words cannot describe how wonderful, amazing, & peaceful Magnolia House Inn is!! My husband and I stayed here in 2018 and this past weekend. Both times we both have left feeling so refreshed and relaxed. Joyce & Langford are so incredibly kind, considerate, caring, and hard working. It is very apparent that they have significant pride and committed to the upkeep of the house and caring their guests. The house is in unbelievable unique with all of the decor and history behind it. I have to add that the house is very clean and pristine!! Lastly, the food was unbelievably delicious and fulfilling!! Highly recommend staying here for at minimum of 2 nights! We look forward to returning again! ❤️
This like the song from carti and the country Mongolia lovely and heart warming I love this place consider their complimentary shoes haha lovely
Mr. Lankford and Ms. Joyce were excellent and gracious hosts. They were very personable. The house is over 100 years old. They took their time to restore it (I had to ask about the history of the house). They make their own cookies and treats (which are available when you check in). The cookie came packaged in the Magnolia House logo and packaging. Downstairs is very open and large. There's a sitting room, dining room and a wedding chapel. They both can officiate a wedding. There's plenty of on-street parking. The neighborhood is safe and secure. The room we had was very spacious. It had its own television, bathroom and mini fridge. The guestroom was very clean. The bathroom as well. The breakfast part of it was the best. I overstuffed myself (usually don't do). Mr. Lankford and Ms. Joyce made scrambled eggs, homemade blueberry muffin (so soft), bacon, fruit cup,and you had a choice of tea or coffee. Also had breakfast with a couple who have stayed there previously. It was great having a conversation with the hosts and couple. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. You won't be disappointed.
