Awesome experience, very nice room , very clean , excellent service , the staff is very accommodating, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
My husband and I go to Oguinquit for our honeymoon every year and this year I surprised him with our stay at the Driftaway! He absolutely loved it (as did I). We spent a lot of our time outside in the biggest hot tub we’ve ever seen. Plus, the fire pits, cornhole, giant checkers/chess and giant jenga drew us in ever more. The pool was by far the largest pool in Maine and they had the most wonderful cabanas and plenty of comfortable poolside lounge chairs. The room impressed us with the old school corded telephone, analog clock and the cutest and quite functional mini-fridge. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind to us during our stay. I can confidently say we are so excited to return next year to the Driftaway!
We stayed at the Driftaway and pool. It was a soft opening so they didn’t really open for a couple days. Everything was brand new. Towels even had that brand new smell. We stayed in a pet friendly room with our very old Golden Retriever. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. Seated about 20 people under a covered area so good for all seasons. Nice fire pit area with games and tables too. Since there was no one else there the manager let us keep the dog with us in the pool area under a cabana. The pool was beautiful just no heat so we never did swim in it. There was a very small area for the dogs to relieve themselves in the side of the hotel and it had trash and glass from construction so I probably wouldn’t bring a dog even though they had rooms allocated for people and their dogs. Beaches don’t allow dogs and we had to call ahead to make sure dogs would be welcome at each restaurant. We spent some time at two dog parks that were in the area but felt guilty leaving even an older dog in the room. The rooms were a bit dark, could use more lighting but we didn’t spend much time there. Cold and hot were reversed in the shower but that could be corrected. We brought bikes and management let us keep them locked in the front of our room but I noticed a bike rack going in when leaving. All said and done it was a great stay for us. Thank you Driftaway and pool. Debbie Bartlett
DO NOT RESERVE My husband and I reserved a room here and used the official website link from google. We paid for our stay and upon arrival found out the place was under renovation. No rooms were available. We went into the front office but found no one here and upon calling discovered that scammers overseas must have hijacked the domain somehow. We had to cancel a credit card as they sold our credit card details to someone else who tried to purchase flights from somewhere outside the US.
Very nice rooms. Immaculate.
Really enjoyed my stay at Ogunquit Hotel & Suites! The room was super spacious, cozy, and very clean. It was nice and quiet even though it’s right on the main road. I loved having a balcony — such a nice extra touch with a great view. The location was perfect too, close to town and only about 20–30 minutes from Kennebunkport. Would definitely stay here again!
