I really wasn't sure about the hotel when I pulled around from the back side, but from the moment I pulled into valet, everything was SPOT ON!! Walking into the lobby was like stepping back in time, such an awesome vibe! Service was great, from the front desk, to the bar and restaurant (ZUZU), to the Spa, and finally the pool, where we booked a daybed! The weekend was a great experience!

Perfect location, fantastic service and bonus two pools. One is super active and high energy and the other is zen and chill. The onsite restaurant had a great menu and excellent cocktails. Perfect vacation and can't wait to go back.

I’m a Phoenix native and like to book rooms around the valley to treat myself. I’ve driven by this resort my whole life and hadn’t stayed until recently. This is why the Valley Ho is a resort I’d highly recommend: Location. If you’re visiting Scottsdale it doesn’t get more convenient than this. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance or a cheap Uber away. The property itself. It is MAINTAINED. The landscaping is beautiful, the architecture is something to admire. Spend the nominal difference for a premium room, the ones with the tub “in” the room. Basic rooms don’t compare. Sundays are poppin at the pool, other days are quieter but still great for people watching and the music is a vibe. The staff. After Covid something happened where hospitality went down the drain. Not here. The front desk WILL accommodate your requests, I’ve been upgraded without charge, they threw in a beverage credit without me asking, they are what 5 star properties should be but you’ll get that here without having to pay $800 a night. Best beds ever. Clean rooms, just all of it. If you’re debating between what place you should book just book here, it’s worth every penny.

Loved my experience here, even if it was for a short stay. The friendliness of the the staff made my stay even more memorable. Upon arriving I was greeted by Scout (sp?) who was enthusiastic and gave me multiple ideas on things to see and do in a short amount of time. I also witnessed both her and Luke handle a situation with the person in front of me with kindness and patience while being very busy. Looking forward to coming back and bringing my weenie dog to get lots of pets from the staff next time!
