Best motel 6 I've ever stayed at

I grew up in Old Town, Scottsdale. This has been my life long, hands-down Motel 6/favorite-that I go to! This time around I was a little shocked, the last time my room had a refrigerator and a few other helpful things, this time I didn’t have any of that, my room was pretty stripped and basic, back to the 80s Motel6. I paid for an early check-in but was told upon arrival that nothing was available. I feel after a little more pressing (b/c I paid for early),, she just put me in what was available versus telling me the details of what the room may NOT have. I used a cooler during my three days, no big deal although None of the ice machines on the property worked, also first time experiencing that at this location, other than that, I love this place! You can walk to Dillards. You can walk to all the restaurants in Fashion Square and Old Town.. Staff was super kind and attentive, a little disappointed with the $10 a day parking fee because I could’ve applied that to another nights stay (also something new for me at this property). This was disappointing because the parking lot was desolate & it’s not like parking was hot commodity at that moment… could understand this charging for parking seasonally, during spring training, or other major Old Town events..

Horrible it was dirty, smelly, and hot. Hotel workers are rude and don’t help until 30 min after you walk in to the building don’t recommend

What can I say ,Linda Mary , Marissa are all 5 stars 🌟 They treat me like family. Linda brings a smile to my end of the day for sure with her stories and jokes . Mary always knows when ive made reservations and gets me straight to my room when she is working the ft desk and very friendly , accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Marissa is friendly, business like and sends me off with " hope you have a good day " and a pleasant smile. Lexi is very friendly and helpful. I can choose another place but when staff treats you like family, you feel at home away from home 🏡

Fantastic front desk, friendly And efficient. Great beds as usual and clean rooms. A. Worked well. Fantastic location near the shopping center and easy to get around. Great parking.

It seems to be that if you ask/want early check in, the room you book won’t be available for early check in. However, if you upgrade your room along with early check in fee, THAT room is available. Have gotten this same response from different locations as well. Just advertise Early check in with room upgrade and early check in fee. Or specify Early check in only available for “such and such” rooms. Also, the women i spoke to May 19th around 5:30am was the opposite of hospitable and wouldn’t quote me the cost to upgrade my room to accommodate early check in. Coldly stated, “I won’t do anything until you are here.” multiple times. I paid in advance for the 4 nights i am staying. Payment already confirmed. If the attitude and demeanor of the agent I spoke with is indicative of how my stay will go, it will be miserable. I will give Motel 6 benefit of the doubt; but if I hadn’t paid in advance, I would have cancelled based on interaction with the hotel desk agent.
