Thank you to the two ladies who made our one night trip to Mobile so special! We checked in and decided we wanted something a little bigger and they went above and beyond to upgrade us to one of the prettiest rooms for our anniversary. Everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming and the inn itself is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Very beautifully preserved, I was sad to leave. We will definitely be back and hopefully get to stay longer next time! Even the surrounding area was beautiful and felt very safe and it’s walking distance to several restaurants and bars. This is definitely a wonderful place to stay for a couple’s getaway, even if it’s just for one night.
Conveniently located and historic! Make sure if you have any mobility issues to get a first floor room.
This place is so charming. We booked last minute because of the fair price and I’m so glad we did. The fountain and greenery right outside the rooms was stunning. The staff was really friendly, we had an issue with our toilet and we were met with solutions instantly. I would highly recommend this place. Elevator was down at the time.
Gorgeous courtyard and great atmosphere. Comfy beds and friendly staff
Obviously this hotel is very old & antique, you know that going in so my issue isn’t with any of that—limited outlets, a wonky leaning bed, a faulty lamp—that’s all fine. But it was pretty apparent that cleaning staff does not mop the floors, at least in our room on the second floor. The floors were very very dirty, visibly so. But the staff does work hard—the girl at the front desk was there for hours and hours and was constantly moving, straightening things up, etc. My only issue was the floors.
Staff were lovely and the property has lots of charm and so much potential, but it's past it's prime unfortunately, and in need of a lot of repair. We slept comfortably but overall the property is just very shabby, inside and out. It deserves some tlc!
I love this type of building which is why I picked it. The architecture is stunning. The room was lovely, full of antiques and nicely updated. However, it IS in need of repair. I think the owners are trying though😬. The staff was very responsive. The area looks interesting, unfortunately it was pouring rain so I couldn't explore for long 😕. For the price I was happy.
