Perfect location and exceptional service! I will definitely stay here again!

I had a few issues with checking in but the support team were quick, responsive and helpful in sorting it out and we're easily contacted with prompt replies during my stay. The apartment was nice, a little damage but it happens anywhere, nothing major. It was easy to walk to and from, I was walking 10+ miles daily, there was plenty within walking distance including an awesome french bakery, easy walk to Market Square with plenty of buses. It was great, I extended the stay another day. The only issue is a lot of the building smells like weed... if it doesn't bother you, its a great little place to stay. I had an Great stay at StayPGH! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend StayPGH for anyone looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Pittsburgh. I will definitely return for my next visit!

I stayed on the 4th floor in a 1br. It was mostly clean (not spotless) and looked just like the photos. It wasn't 5-star, but you're getting what you pay for and it has all the necessities you'd expect from your typical apartment/hotel. The location itself is near by many cool stores and restaurants, but it can get a bit sketchy with many homeless and degenerates, especially at night. There was a heater in the main bedroom which came in handy, and a fan. The beds felt like springs, but they were surprisingly comfortable and cozy. Didn't have much issues sleeping soundly. I didn't see any sign of AC, but maybe they have central (not sure). The large TV also come in handy. The 3 stars is mainly because the water pressure in the shower was abysmal, and the towels smelled odd, like it was cleaned but still had some residual odor. Hard to explain. Also the keypad on my room was buggy. Was always able to get in, but it was finicky and didn't always respond to key inputs. Additionally, the check-in process was a bit over bearing. It doesn't help when you're already stressed out juggling a million different things while traveling, to also be swamped with multiple redundant phone calls, emails and text messages. I get it, the phone calls and voice mails from their support staff are a nice personal touch, but ultimately served as more of a distraction for me, as I was extremely busy during my check-in day, and none of the communications were truly necessary. I also noticed another visitor complained about the water pressure in the shower months ago, so I took off an additional star because it's obvious they haven't addressed it yet, and probably never will. I was originally going to leave 4 stars, but seeing how these places obsessively ask for reviews and want to know how they're doing but don't ACTUALLY care to implement changes based on feedback, especially for something critical like the shower, I felt like it was justified. At the end of the day, it's a fairly clean place, but recognize you're getting what you pay for. Don't expect a 5-star experience. If you have the means, you're better off elsewhere, but this is a solid budget choice. Would I come here again? Not if I can help it, but in a pickle, sure.

I checked in on Thursday May 29th 2026. The shower in my original deluxe apartment (Apt 201) with a queen bed did not work. The water was not even coming out of the shower head (photo below). I contacted StayPgh and advised of the situation. So I was moved to a completely different building that was no where near comparable to what I had paid for. The new room had two twin beds and a tiny sofa. When I reminded the gentlemen on the phone that I had a queen bed. His solution was and I quote “just push the two bed together” I would have attempted to do that however the apartment I was placed in did not have a thermostat and it was so cold in there that my teeth were chattering. StayPgh answer was to try and close the vents. However the mechanism to shut said vents did not close them. The tiny shower did work thankfully. To Be 100% transparent, StayPgh did refund my $35.79 early check in fee. But I honestly think they can do more especially since i was a Repeat customer. Makes me question if they Truly care.

Clean, reasonably priced, very close to the GAP trail.

The staff was amazing and was there to help in any way to make our stay pleasant. If I needed anything it was a call or a text away and was dealt with immediately. I have worked in 40 states from the north to south to the east and west and I have to say the rooms were more than expected and the staff was amazing they were above and beyond expected. It tells me one thing they Love their job which on the other hand the company must be taking good care of them not once did I see anyone without a smile on their face or a bad attitude I will definitely Stay there if I come back without a doubt.Thank you staff members you made our stay above and beyond expected
