Everything was excellent.
Starling is the best assistant GM in existence. Please give him a raise
Ran into a slight issue. Spoke with the manager and he handled it professionally and precise. Other than that... Our time spent here was decent. We didn't stay long to use many amenities, but the hotel itself has everything you need in order to get through the night. Basketball court and the pool area was very clean and tidy.
We have always had good experiences at this hotel and usually stay here when visiting my elderly parents in Dallas. Unfortunately, this year’s stay was very disappointing. There were like 30 - 50 crawling worms coming into the bathroom, which was disgusting. We notified the front desk, and staff came at night with bug spray, but it did not stop the bugs from coming in. Instead, the strong chemical from the spray made it difficult for me to sleep that night. Management later said they would hire professionals to spray outside the building, but the issue was still not fully resolved. We still have to kill a minimum 10 worms per day ourselves. The room 101 is not a good room to stay. The manager offered a $300 refund as compensation. However, instead of refunding $300, we were incorrectly charged an additional $600. My son had to spend a significant amount of time trying to resolve the billing issue. We also experienced another troubling incident. After parking overnight at the hotel, our car’s tire suddenly lost pressure. Our vehicle has a tire pressure monitoring system, and the tire was completely fine when we parked. The next morning, the warning light came on immediately after starting the car, showing low PS. We drove to Sam's Club, where we were told the tire could not be repaired because it had three large nails in it, with two of them too close together. 3 nails in one tire! We wasted half day in dealing with this issue and paid for a new tire. I hope the hotel has a security camera. It happened on the night of May 14th, 2026.
