They make you feel like family, no better than family ❤️ Service and amenities clean and just what you need and then some. Staff are extremely helpful. A💕💕 International feel for sure best neighborhood in Portland!

Mostly good. The beds are so squeaky though and could be remedied if they put some padding between some of the metal parts, such as the ladder and the bedframe.

I had a great time staying at this hostel. The staff were very friendly and gave me a map with recommendations for places to visit, which made exploring the city much easier. Thanks to their suggestions, I visited Washington Park, Powell’s City of Books, and most famous doughnut place :) The rooms, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas were all clean and well maintained. I also loved the hidden garden in the back; it was a peaceful place to relax. The hostel café was a nice bonus too. The location is excellent, within walking distance of downtown and the train station. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for solo backpackers 😊

My food was stolen from the communal fridge, and the staff did nothing about it, offering only a hollow apology. On top of that, the room was disgusting. The floor smelled strongly of urine, and the shower and bathroom area were left uncleaned, covered in hair. I strongly advise against staying here

My car got broken into with another car from girls staying in this hostel. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A CAR
