Women's Week Provincetown 2026
About This Event
Women's Week Provincetown brings about 15,000 women to the tip of Cape Cod every October. It's the big lesbian gathering on the New England LGBTQ+ calendar: a solid week of parties, comedy, music, and social events.
This happens mid-October, when summer's over and the town has quieted down. That makes Women's Week feel different from the summer scene. More intimate, more about community. The town really feels like it belongs to the women attending, which isn't possible in peak season.
Expect national lesbian comedians and musicians, art shows, dance parties, and themed events at the main spots. Women's Week has been going since the 1980s, so it has a serious following. For lesbian travelers, Provincetown in October, with this programming, is probably the best time to go.
