Women's Week Provincetown est le grand rassemblement lesbien du calendrier LGBTQ+ de Nouvelle-Angleterre — une semaine d'événements, performances, soirées d'humour, soirées dansantes et rencontres sociales organisée chaque mois d'octobre, qui réunit environ 15 000 femmes à la pointe du Cape Cod. L'événement se tient à la mi-octobre, après la fermeture de la saison estivale et alors que la ville retrouve une échelle proche de celle de l'hiver, ce qui donne à Women's Week un caractère différent des événements d'été : plus intime, plus communautaire, la ville appartenant authentiquement aux participantes d'une manière impossible en plein été. La programmation inclut humoristes et musiciennes lesbiennes de renom national, expositions, soirées dansantes et fêtes à thème dans les principaux lieux. Women's Week existe depuis les années 1980 et fidélise un public qui revient chaque année. Pour les voyageuses lesbiennes, le mariage du cadre extraordinaire de Provincetown et de la programmation rend octobre idéal.
