Silicon Valley Pride

Silicon Valley Pride is the nonprofit that organises San Jose's annual Pride festival and parade — first held in 1975 and known for years as San Jose Pride — held each August on Labor Day weekend at Plaza de César Chávez downtown. Beyond the main festival the all-volunteer organisation runs year-round community events, drag brunches and fundraisers, and is one of the anchors of Silicon Valley's LGBTQ+ community.
