Amazing welcome from the owner making us immediately feel at home. This place gives more of a family/friendly group vibe where you get to know the bartenders and staff well, which we loved. The food was great and authentic, cooked to order and beautifully served. The rooms were spacious but could do with a little TLC. This added to the charm of the place though.

By far the nicest hotel staff I have ever had. We kept getting cancelled on by our ride out of the hotel (due to needing space for a wheelchair) and they helped us find alternatives. In the meantime they offered up use of the pool. Also the fellow guests were very friendly.

Stayed the week of Christmas with my partner, we had an absolute luxurious time! The room was very well done, we got amazing sleep in the very comfy bed, shower had very hot water and good pressure. Sometimes traveling out of my home country we don't get those luxury's so it's nice to note! Cleanliness was also outstanding, I was truly impressed. The Staff from Liz, to the bar crew, and the chef were all so attentive and friendly! We had no plans when we got there, but sought out the advice of staff for ideas on what to do and see while we were in town. Everyone was so warm and friendly, we got tons of advice to make the trip fulfilling. The bar drinks were so tasty, while it just looks like a 'locals bar'- the cocktails are made at a high end cocktail bar standard for taste & quality. The chef, Rapha, also so super friendly and the man can cook!! Portions were well done, flavor was very present. My only regret was not ordering more while I was there to taste more of the menu. We took advantage of the tours offered, and stayed in communication with Liz to book everything, she made it so easy to book and tours picked up right outside so all we had to do was be ready. The tour was incredible, we did a small group tour to see the coffee bean factory, volcano, and rainforest waterfall. It was a small comfortable group, with a well educated staff. I can not wait to return <3

We arrived spontaneously in the middle of the first night because our other hostel didn't work out. The reception staff were very friendly – ​​everything was great.

Great place... staying there since 1990 BUT I THINK IT IS CLOSED.. I could not get my phone calls (direct or Whatsapp) answered. No response to my email or Whatsapp messages. (Multiple times)

Always chill and nice

This was a great place to stay for a group of gay men traveling together. We each got our own room. The pool area is nice. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The bar attracted local gays and travelers. Staff was friendly and helpful.
