Visitors appreciate the Steam Plant Hotel's convenient downtown location, offering easy access to attractions and dining, and often mention the helpful staff and good value. I have now stayed there twice. It's not a fancy hotel of course. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was excellent. The front desk is awesome. Kudos to Shannon I believe her name was. Everything in the room including TV was just fine. For the price you can't beat it. Walking to the Falls and the downtown mall took a couple minutes.

It was a fine motel. Nothing special, but it is down town and the rooms were clean. It has been renovated, but the renovations were mostly paint. If you are looking for a well priced place to sleep downtown and walking distance to everything I would go for it.

This hotel is not a place we will stay or encourage other to stay either. I book a room for me and my son online through their website. I have two service animals. I put that I had two animals. Wheil I was at work my son was in the hotel room he got a call that at our earliest convenience we needed to fill out some forms for our animals. My son said ok. Later he left for 6 minutes to go to the vending machine. Wheil he was gone the room was locked and he was told by the manager that they were now holding our animals hostage and they could not talk to him because he wasn't on the room reservation (He was) They then proceeded to tell him they couldn't discuss it because he was not on the reservation. My service animals were locked in a room for over an hour. I called the manager from the sister hotel that manages them and stated that I wanted this resolved and I was no longer wanting to stay there because I no longer felt safe. For me or my animals and I wanted my money back from the two nights stay I paid for. He assured me it would be refunded it has not been refunded. The room also smelled very bad and the location was close to everything but lots of sketchy people hanging around.

Great location and price! Central if you're staying downtown for something... Easy walk to lots of bars and food! Jade at the front desk was very helpful and efficient! Trains were a bit of a surprise but once the first one went past easily ignored.
