What reviewers say

Visitors praise the Pirate Haus Inn for its unique, whimsical pirate theme and its excellent location in the heart of the historic district, with many highlighting the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Jenny and Captain Hans, and the delicious pancake breakfasts. However, some guests note that the building shows its age, with stairs being a significant issue for those with luggage or mobility concerns, and the website pictures may be misleading regarding modern amenities.

It was quirky and fun. Each room has a treasure hunt and the kids loved it. The pancake breakfast was very tasty. Staff very friendly.

We’ve been coming to the Pirate Haus for years with our five kids! We adore the fun rooms, the pancake breakfast, and the ability to walk out the door and step right into all the action in St Augustine! We recommend it to everyone we know. Check it out, you won’t be sorry!

We had an amazing time at this totally unique Inn. Location was perfect, my granddaughter could not wait to sign up for the pancake breakfast every morning. Staff was amazing super friendly and helpful. Not your typical hotel, but very homie and comfortable. The living room has a wide variety of books and games.

Great spot for families! Our young kids loved the pirate theme, and each room has a pirate treasure/scavenger hunt. The rooms do t have TVs, but there is a living room down the hall with a large TV and lots of toys. Breakfast was pancakes with all of our names in them, and they were delicious! Parking can be tough, they have four first come first serve spaces behind the building that are $15 for the night, and you can only get one per reservation. We had two cars, but the staff was super helpful and assisting us to find parking for other vehicle. The location is absolutely amazing, we could walk everywhere downtown. Definitely recommend!
