Prism, the Grove’s newest LGBTQ bar and club, opened in early 2022 in the former Monocle space and keeps the crowd dancing with drag and showgirl shows, quick service, and reasonable drinks. 4510 Manchester Avenue puts Prism right at the west end of The Grove. It launched in 2022 after the Monocle left the building, and the venue’s own website still calls it the newest LGBTQ spot in the Grove. I had such an amazing experience at PRISIM in St. Louis! I went for a friend’s birthday, and from the moment we walked in, the energy was incredible. The drag show was absolutely phenomenal—every performer brought their own unique style, talent, and personality to the stage. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it made the whole night unforgettable. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. It was welcoming, fun, and full of good vibes. The owner even came out of their way to come talk to us, which meant a lot and made the experience feel even more personal. It’s not every day you find a place where you feel genuinely appreciated as a guest. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, have a great time, and enjoy top-tier entertainment, PRISIM is definitely the spot. We had so much fun and will absolutely be back!
