About this place Rehab Bar & Grill

Rehab Bar & Grill occupies the bar-and-grill format on Manchester Avenue in The Grove, providing the food component that pure gay bars often lack and making it a practical option for visitors who want to eat and drink in the same LGBTQ+ environment before moving on to Just John or Attitudes for the later part of the evening. The food is bar food done well — the kind of substantial, affordable American bar menu that fuels a night out effectively. The atmosphere is lively and gay-bar-calibrated: the kitchen and the bar operate in parallel, the crowd is mixed between those who came specifically to eat and those who arrived for drinks and found themselves hungry. Manchester Avenue is visible from the bar area, and the street energy of The Grove contributes to the sense that you are in the right neighbourhood for the evening. Rehab is the sensible first stop on a Grove bar crawl — a drink and some food before heading next door and down the street to the other venues on the strip.

Came to Rehab for the first time for their Werk! For a Cause fundraiser and had an amazing time! The entertainment was great for a Sunday afternoon and the service was quick and attentive. Lots of outdoor patio space as well as an indoor bar.

I wish I could give more than five stars. We came for my daughters 21st Birthday. We had all age ranges from 21- 61. We all had a great time! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Frankie for answering all my questions weeks prior. The party was on a Saturday night which happened to be opening night of their amazing patio. We got there early found a corner and were allowed to decorate and bring in cupcakes. All I can say if you need a pick me up go to Rehab. The environment is so lively! The drinks prices were very reasonable and the jello shots were so fun! When they say all are welcome, they are sincere. Even a 50 year old mom. I felt so comfortable, no judgement, no cliques. I have zero complaints. Highly recommend!

Rehab Bar & Grill in The Grove is an absolute staple for a night out in St. Louis. The inclusive, judgment-free atmosphere sets the perfect vibe, especially with an incredible MC keeping the energy high and the amazing experience of seeing the King of Hearts. The wonderful drag show completely blew everyone away, and the staff and performers were so incredibly welcoming to all of the birthday people in the crowd. I am deeply grateful for their outstanding hospitality and how warmly they welcomed everyone who walked through the door. Between the spacious back patio, flowing drinks, and fantastic entertainment, it is easily one of the best spots in the city to celebrate and completely be yourself.
