Front desk was extremely nice and welcoming as we arrived and even let us check in a little early due to our limited time frame with many occasions occuring in our short stay. Extra towels , a nice turn down service for the sleeper couch , they even went so far as getting ice for our room on a very 🥵 Stockton Friday. Everyone of the staff I encountered from the moment my tired family and I showed up , to the moment I turned in the room keys after a great included breakfast was fantastic! Cannot say enough about the hospitality, cleanliness, and all around great vibes that shines thru here. Thank you.
My girlfriend and I stayed there one night while in Stockton for a performance. It's in a peaceful neighborhood. Marie, the front desk clerk, checked us in and out and was friendly, pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, with scrambled eggs and sausage. We would surely stay at this Residence Inn again.
It's okay ish It's old
One of the worst hotels in the Marriott chain. It's old, with terribly noisy bathrooms. And the air conditioning. Cleaning is regular, thank you. The carpets in the rooms are dirty; walking barefoot leaves your feet black. The reception staff is inappropriate and unfriendly, making comments that are unacceptable to guests. They spill chemicals on the floor when you're sitting, relaxing, and you have to breathe it in. A child was nearby for a minute. Only one young man with a mustache at the reception was friendly and helpful, and he checked us into a larger room. Thank you very much. And the worst part is the smell of marijuana in the bedrooms. The neighbors smoke right in the room, and the reception, of course, didn't respond, even though smoking is prohibited on the hotel grounds! The air conditioning in the gym doesn't work properly, making it uncomfortable.
I frequently stay in hotels on a weekly basis, and I am a loyal Marriott customer. Unfortunately, I found this particular hotel and room to be unclean. The shower was clogged, and there was a half-empty water bottle with a yellowish substance in it next to my bed. I was only there for one night.
Such a great value for your money. The service was spectacular and friendly. Parking was limited and surrounding the building making it difficult to get one close to your room. Gym has everything you need for a vacation workout.
