Aloft by Marriott Syracuse Inner Harbor

Hotel is in the middle of wreckage and development. No on site parking. Homeless at every corner. Wales of the room are paper thin. Staff was dismissive and unsightly. They don’t have a pool they have a 3foot deep public tub. No breakfast but you can buy a $5 bagel that is sitting out by the check in desk. The bathroom in the hotel rooms is closed with a sliding door and provides zero privacy if you are sharing the room. This hotel is not good at anything.the bed was comfortable earning the 2 star room rating

This past Saturday 4/18. I arrived to check in with a very loud waiting area . Due to the activities this weekend making the hotel 343 for the night . Anyways I traveled to the 5th floor when I entered room DID not turn on tv anything I literally went inside bathroom to shower . While showering with door closed and laughing on phone .POLice was called literally I thought someone was playing… it was 12;30 at night I just arrived a was in towel when answering door. I called downstairs to talk to Brittany Gensburg . The manager who checked me in . I explained the police was at my door not hotel staff but the police was here because I was making noise inside a closed bathroom with shower running . I voiced someone should have called upstairs from the hotel staff if I was showering too loud. MANAGEMENT did not apologize did not upgrade my room didn’t do anything ..sh actually recommend I check out at 1am and lose my money I paid for room $343 ANYONE LOOKING TO TRAVEL I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SOMEWHERE ELSE . EBASSY suites is down the road closer too mall and more friendly!!

We loved this hotel! After driving for 12 hours with 2 dogs it was such a welcoming place. Bar/restaurant was open late and the room was spacious and very pet friendly!

Currently listening to some dude in the room nextdoor argue with an automated help desk over the phone. Clear as day. Wouldn't stay here again for $50 a night.

Firstly, the location is perfect for just visiting. You're in downtown before you know it, maybe a 5 minute drive there. Destiny mall is literally down the road, you can see it while youre pulling onto the hotel road. The rooms are nice, the amenities such as the pool, bar, and the public areas are clean, modern, and feel quite swanky. Walls a little thin like others have said, so you'll hear just about everything going on around you. My problems with this hotel arise from the miasma of modernity it projects everywhere. Its very millennial, such as everything being called a quirky name like "splash" for the pool. And breakfast is just, put simply, not what I expect out of a hotel breakfast. Anecdote here, during our stay me and mine put some leftovers in the minifridge after a long day, ready to hit the hay. We woke up the next day to find the minifridge was never working, and our leftovers worth close to 100 dollars worth of food had to be trashed. No big deal, we'll go downstairs and theyll comp it, we'll go ahead and get a free breakfast or something considering its 25 dollars per person for breakfast so it HAS to be good right? Well we get given a voucher for breakfast for our party, which includes ONE hot item, and a drink. That meant ONE sandwich and a cold drink for everyone. Im going to be butthurt about that for a long time. Mainly because im not the kind of person to rip into someone doing there job because of a mistake someone else made. But still, cmon, what happened to getting an actual breakfast thats included in the price of your stay. Point is, check your mini fridge if youre gonna stay here, because if youre like me, a breakfast biscuit and a Gatorade isnt exactly how you expect a hotel breakfast to go.

My husband and I stayed here due to a doctor’s appointment, first of all the customer service was amazing, Brittany and Mr. Sami( hope I’m spelling correctly) were so sweet and very helpful, didn’t get everyone’s name but every single person here was awesome. They have complimentary coffee, tea and lots of snacks for purchase.The rooms are small but clean and cozy. Perfect for couples, they also have shuttle service to our clinic and the airport which made it way easier for us. We will be back and definitely staying here again. Thank you guys !
