Booked this hotel based on the fact that they had an indoor pool and a Jacuzzi listed on the site I booked through which was through USAA. Arrived to check in and was handed two drink tickets that they offer for their evening reception from 5-7 which was nice. I asked the front desk person to please send up additional pillows to the room. Me and my boyfriend were only staying one night. She said the pillows would be up shortly. Had to pay $15 for parking in the hotel parking lot, which was not disclosed through the website I booked through but, it is what it is. My boyfriend and I left the room around 730 pm to walk down the street to dinner. When we got back between 930-10 we went to the pool area because we really wanted to enjoy the Jacuzzi, they had it covered with large plants on top and a sign stating that the pool heater was broken but the pool was still open. We decided to just go to bed. When we got up to the room the extra pillows had not been brought up and by that time we were just upset with the whole Jacuzzi/pool situation we decided to just call it a night. The bathroom area in the king size suite was very large but the water took almost ten minutes to heat up and the water pressure was extremely low. Check out was by 11 am. Walked down to the front desk and the man at the front desk asked how my stay was and I told him about my few complaints and he says well, we'll have to notify that website about the Jacuzzi so they can remove it and sorry about the pillows. Well.... Hope you have a nice day. Didn't offer for compensation or a discount on another stay or anything. Won't be back.

The entire experience was fabulous!!!! Heather McHenry is a Rock Star Events Coordinator. Have your Wedding, Rehearsal dinner, Bridal Shower any party at the Embassy Suites it will be sensational!!! The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and perfect for family vacations. We reserved a block of room with connecting doors it was the best!!!!

Beautiful, modern rooms, super convenient location and the most friendly and helpful staff! Great breakfast as well. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa is in the perfect location for visiting the town — close to great restaurants and just a short, convenient drive for anyone coming from out of town to attend the Alabama Fire College. The hotel itself is nice, and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. However, I have to give the room cleanliness a 3. Upon arrival, the kitchen cabinets had not been cleaned, and we were using them to store our food for the week. A housekeeping supervisor checked in with us a day or two later, and I mentioned the cabinet issue as well as the fact that the bathroom never received even a quick sweep. She kindly offered to send someone immediately, but we were busy studying and asked for it to be done the next day. Unfortunately, it never happened — not the next day, not at any point during our week‑long stay. The bathroom floor continued to accumulate hair, and the cabinets were never cleaned. Overall, the location and staff were great, but the housekeeping follow‑through definitely needs improvement.

Excellent service, amenities, and location. The front facing teams, especially Madylen and Keira, helped me navigate reservation and payment changes for multiple people on a business trip. In addition to the hospitality and short walk to the river, downtown, and campus, I would highly recommend staying here when wrangling different arrival/departure times, payments, and preferences. They were so organized and thoughtful, making the travel experience less stressful and our first visit to Tuscaloosa fun.
