Homewood Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown

We have been traveling from Texas to DC/Maryland and back to Texas for 11 days on a road Trip. On our last hotel, it was disappointing without AC and way overpriced. Then we stayed here and have to say, they put other hotels to shame being overpriced and without breakfast. This hotel at Homewood Suite was loaded with breakfast and fresh coffee, pool, rooftop bar and kitchen, and filtered drinking water fill up. The rooms were amazing and the AC was bitter sweet. Fair pricing. Well done maintaining this hotel. Highly recommended

The staff was amazing friendly ready to answer any questions we had! The breakfast was the best I've had in years and I travel a lot. From the pool the view of the city the location everything was prefect whenever I'm in Tuscaloosa I will definitely book here every time

Beautiful clean hotel. The staff was amazing and Mrs. Kim at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly, she made the stay feel like a.sense of home. Will be staying again! Thanks for all your hard work and hospitality.

Nice hotel, just off the river and close to everything in Tuscaloosa.

Upon entering Room 608 for our stay booked on May 22, 2025, the room initially appeared acceptable. However, after a closer inspection, we found the bed sheets to be visibly dirty, containing hair and dandruff. Shortly afterward, my daughter accidentally spilled water on the floor. When I wiped it up with a paper towel, the towel came back black with dirt, hair, and dust, confirming the room had not been properly cleaned. Due to the unsanitary condition of the room, my family and I made the decision to check out within minutes of checking in. We immediately notified the front desk. Although another room was offered, I declined and instead requested a refund, as the overall cleanliness and handling of the situation had already caused us to lose confidence in the property. While an apology was given, it did not appear sincere and offered no reassurance that corrective action would be taken to prevent similar issues for future guests. Based on the reviews and photos online, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and professionalism. I would strongly caution families with infants or toddlers, as well as anyone who values cleanliness and basic hygiene, to reconsider booking this property. The condition of the room was unacceptable and genuinely shocking.
