As a very frequent traveler, I can confidently say that the front desk staff at this property is among the most incompetent and unprofessional I have encountered. My experience began with the woman wearing the nose piercing, Apple Watch and glasses. She had a very poor demeanor from the start, spoke in a loud and confrontational tone, and was rude and condescending throughout our interaction. Rather than assisting us, she was dismissive, interrupted us repeatedly, and even stopped helping us to serve other guests before resolving our concerns. At no point did she make any effort to provide the level of customer service that should be expected. A hotel's front desk is often the first impression guests receive, and unfortunately, this experience reflected very poorly on the property. I hope management addresses these issues through proper training and ensures that all guests are treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
This comes up in almost every review. Treasure, Jamaal, Zion, Abdullah get mentioned constantly. "10 out of 10" customer service. "Gracious hospitality made me overlook there not being a microwave". Staff remembered repeat guests from last year
I love this hotel
Stayed here during my visit to Washington, DC. The hotel is centrally located, and I enjoyed the views from the room overlooking both the circle and the swimming pool. The room was clean, and the staff was courteous and helpful throughout my stay. The property could benefit from some maintenance, as the curtains were torn and there was some wooden dust/debris near the window. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay and a good overall experience.
